Running out of time, Trump pulls offer for Running Horse

Golf course architect Donald Trump has had enough. He’s pulled his $40 million offer for the project and decided to wait it out to bankruptcy.

“I think I’m better off withdrawing my bid and waiting for the bankruptcy,” Trump said on the show. “Eventually, I think it’s going to go to auction.”

Trump also expressed contempt for Evans’ ability to develop the troubled project, saying it “would be an economic catastrophe.” A Trump-directed project, by contrast, would be “the talk of the country.”

There’s that Trump modesty coming through.
