Hello:

This is for consideration as an update to your listing of golf course architects. I am a course designer and have owned and operated my firm, based out of Jupiter, Florida, for the past 11 years and have been in the business for 16 years. I would appreciate it if you would list my company as a Golf Architect. My website, www.ksgd.net contains an extensive listing of all projects, past and present, with which I have been associated with.

Thank you,

Taylor,
Sorry to bug you about this, but I'd really like to get a copy of the KB Advanced RSS Widget that you modified for your blogroll. Could you please email it to me (mcdermottscott@yahoo.com)? Thanks!

Greetings Taylor,

New to your website, quite an interesting cornucopia of golf information. I may have some opinions regarding various items written up which is a testament to the topics here.

Kind regards,
Howard

Hi Taylor,
It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well.
While it is true that Fred moonlights with another designer, his name and primary focus of design is associated with our company. I know you are familiar with one of our past projects, having been to the opening of Carolina National, but Fred has co-designed about 20 courses with Gene over the past 16 years (which, I am told, is the longest player-architect relationship going). I'm sure that's quite a few more courses than many other recognized player-architects. We also have a handful more in the planning, design or construction phase right now. True, Fred isn't as active on site as Jack, Greg, or Tom--that's Fred. But as he has grown in his knowledge of the design end of the business and is more comfortable expressing his views while on site he contributes significant input on plan and in the field. He is certainly more than a name tacked onto the courses we draw.
Hopefully you will be convinced to include him in the list of designers and give him the credit he deserves as a player-architect.

Take care.
