Lanier Golf Club facing the bulldozers blade?

A club with some local interest is facing the demand of a great location. Unfortunately, the neighboring homeowners are finding out the hard way that property they don’t own doesn’t give them the control they need to prevent it from changing. The course itself, which I played for the first time last year, is nice, but nothing of particular note. It’s a very typical Georgia course - lined with pines on a nice, but unremarkable piece of property. The rezoning is scheduled to be heard September 20th.
