The Donald saves the Horse, doesn’t ride a cowboy

Golf course architect Donald Trump’s horse has finally come in - Running Horse is the Donald’s fine mare now for $30 million.  Hold your horses though, the deal will have to be approved by the bankruptcy judge, however. (I have to use up the horse cliches because…)

And the world won’t be calling it Running Horse. How does “Trump National Golf Course Fresno” sound? That’s the name Trump used in his statement.

Agreement details were sparse: $30 million cash; unlike previous proposals, there would be no sharing of profits once development starts; $1 million deposit due today; another $1 million deposit due in early August.

A question that hasn’t been answered yet - will Jack Nicklaus continue on as the project’s golf course architect? Trump has either used himself or Fazios stateside. Maybe we’ll get lucky and get our second California Donald Trump golf course design. One can only hope.
