More Pound Ridge

Golf course names are getting a little – uh – strange. Anyway, the first Pete Dye course in New York is slated for a 2008 opening. In a follow up to the previous story on Pound Ridge, we’ve got a couple of quotes from the architects. (That would be Pete and Perry.)

According to Dye, the 7,154-yard Pound Ridge will be one of his best course designs.

Perry Dye offered: “There will be a lot of different shot-making opportunities on all 18 holes.” Both architects agree that the project will have “the variety of holes that golfers enjoy.”

I really would like to know what the “variety of holes that golfers enjoy” are.
